The decal sheet contains decal options for aircraft flown by Floyd Werner and his colleagues. Included in the set is a compact disc containing many photographs of Cobras, from the collections of Floyd and his colleagues along with drawings for producing some of the paint masks required for one of the schemes. A comprehensive photographic detailed walkaround is also included on the CD.

This latest release from Werner’s Wings is a resin Conversion set for the Messerschmitt Bf-109V-13/V-14 Air racers and Record Setters and is designed for the Tamiya Bf-109E3 kit. This decal sheet includes 3 different aircraft.

This 1/48 decal sheet from Werner’s Wings features14 different AH-1 Cobras in paint schemes from US Army Helo Drab FS 34031 to a variety of monotone and multi tone desert camo schemes and even a gray/green/brown camo scheme. These decals are sized for the Monogram kit and possibly the Testors/Fujimi kit…..but you could have fit issues if you use these on the Testors/Fujimi kit.

The AH-1W went into service with the USMC in 1985. Four Squadrons of Super Cobras were involved in the push into occupied Kuwait in 1991where they proved they were an effective anti-armor weapons platform.

OK after much work and delays I am proud to announce the release of the 1/35th AH-1W turned exhausts, set# 35-07. I’d like to publicly thank Randy Smith, Gino Quintiliani, and Chris Baretta for their help in making this conversion happen. All these gentlemen helped in some form or another with this project. Werner’s Wings has announced a great new set for 1/35 Marine modelers. For those who are interested in modern helicopters, this set is a much welcomed addition.

The quality of the resin casting is flawless and bubble free. This would be a very easy item to add. Simply sand away the casting block, paint the bladder as per the instructions that are included with this set, then glue it into place.

The Bell UH-1 Iroquois flying range could be extended by fitting extra fuel bladders into the rear cabin well area on each side of the rotor gearbox housing. I think that these bladders are spare main rubber fuel tank bladders that would normally be fitted to the UH-1.
